Chrome blocks autoplay for non-muted content and creates a media engagement index (MEI) for every website, which is based on user engagement. When the MEI score for a website is above a certain value, Chrome will allow videos to autoplay.
To ensure that your content always autoplays regardless of your website's MEI, we need to mute audio on page load. Users can unmute the video either via the Unmute button on top or by clicking on the Volume bar at the bottom right of the video player.
