What changed 

This update included new features, improvements and minor bug fixes.


  • In each custom report, added a setting to list a user only once (if they have multiple listings eg., multiple abstracts, speaking sessions etc) Added
  • In Program builder, under Tools dropdown, added a button "Convert Abstracts into Sessions". Clicking on it will open a popup, where admin can select the Submission Type whose abstracts they want to convert to individual sessions. Once selected, simply click on the "Convert" button to create unscheduled sessions. It will fetch abstract's title, description and speakers into sessions. Added
  • In contacts, added filtering for multiple filters with AND OR.Added
  • If the setting "assign speaker role on acceptance" is enabled, so the speaker role is assigned to the presenting or primary author or both depending on the setting, also added this setting for the scenario when admin manually assigns the presenting or primary author or both roles to an author from the abstract detail view. Added
  • Added a button to display waiting list for a ticket type under the ticket setup along with the name and email addresses of the waitlisted users. And add a Notify button to notify waitlisted users of the ticket availability. It would have predefined text and will be sent to all users in the waiting list. Added
  • In program print schedule settings in the backend, added option to include/exclude co-authors of an abstract in a session. Added
  • In Ticket Setup, added a separate section to create membership type tickets. Added
  • When an abstract title has an apostrophe in the text, it seems to trigger a bug when the submission updates or autosaves that results in the Title text area filling up with backslashes.Fixed
  • Several testers reported that when they used “Save & Submit Later” their web browser got hung up and had to be manually reloaded, even after extended time. The information was saved but it does get stuck loading and appears not to be saving.Fixed
  • In program builder, if the session start and end time is 00:00, and one tries to save it, it shows the error message start time should be greater than the end time. Fixed
  • Removed the option "Set this ticket as membership ticket type". Instead any ticket type created under this section will be treated as membership ticket types. Created a menu "Membership Setup" and linked it directly to the membership section in ticket setup. Updated
